Brian is the lead pastor of Community Covenant. In addition to overseeing and leading the mission and vision of our church community, Brian loves teaching and caring for God’s people. Brian received his Master of Arts from Fuller Theological Seminary, and is currently credentialed with the Evangelical Covenant Church. He’s married to Laura, and they have two children: Asher, and Canaan.

Dean Soule
Dean began serving as the pastor of student ministry at Community Covenant in August of 2017. He is passionate about his role to help middle school and high school students grow deeper in their faith, navigate life as a teenager, and experience the wonder of God’s love. Dean received his B.A. in Youth Ministry from Simpson University in 2010. He received his Master of Divinity in 2017 from North Park Theological Seminary where he also met his wife Abby.

Stacey Schell
Stacey has attended CCC since 2000 and loves this church community. Stacey’s work involves communication with the church family, helping the ministry heads turn their ideas into reality, and whatever else needs to be done to keep things running smoothly. She has a BS in Business Administration from San Diego State and worked as a project manager for 10 years before joining the CCC staff.

Stephanie Peterson
/>Stephanie has attended CCC since 2000 and after serving in various leadership roles at the church for many years, she began serving as the Children’s Ministry Director in 2016. Stephanie has a BA in Liberal Studies and a teaching credential from SDSU. She has been an elementary school teacher for 18 years and also holds a Master’s degree in education. Stephanie’s greatest desire is to teach children that they matter to God right now no matter how old they are and to inspire in them an understanding of how much Jesus loves them emphasizing the power of scripture in their lives.

Mark Anderson
Mark Anderson manages the Community Covenant facility. As head of operations, he takes care of making sure that the buildings and grounds are maintained. Mark has a B.A. in Business with a minor in Finance and worked in project management in the construction industry for the last ten years of his twenty-five years in the electrical industry. He also plays bass in the worship band.
